Together, they are blessed with a Christ-centered family, including their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons who live in Summerville, SC.
Dr. Tim Burdick
Dr. Tim Burdick has called Lake County home since 1976 and is a proud graduate of Eustis High School. His deep roots in the community, combined with his extensive education and ministry experience, make him uniquely qualified to lead and inspire. He holds degrees from The Baptist University of Florida (Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies), Liberty University Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry).
With a pastoral career spanning nearly two decades, Dr. Burdick faithfully served as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Minneola for 10 years, where he oversaw significant spiritual growth. In 2021, he became the Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) for the Lake County Baptist Association (LCBA). Under his leadership, LCBA has flourished, actively replanting churches, helping to plant new congregations, and welcoming new churches to join the association. His visionary approach has strengthened unity among member churches while expanding their collective gospel impact in the community and beyond.
Some of his noteworthy achievements as AMS include:
• Spearheading efforts to replant struggling churches, breathing new life into their ministries.
• Supporting the successful establishment of new church plants.
• Welcoming new churches into LCBA, including multi-language congregations to reflect the growing diversity in Lake County.
• Initiating mission trips and partnerships, such as critical improvements at Bluewater Bible College in St. Thomas, further extending the association’s reach.
• Transitioning LCBA’s operations to modern governance and financial management systems, ensuring transparency and sustainability.
• Developing a strategic vision rooted in biblical principles, fostering collaboration and accountability among LCBA member churches.
Dr. Burdick’s leadership style is characterized by his emphasis on relationships, his heart for missions, and his commitment to empowering pastors and churches to fulfill the Great Commission.
Mrs. Jennifer Burdick
Mrs. Jennifer Burdick has been an indispensable partner in their shared ministry. With a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Education from Liberty University, Jennifer combines academic excellence with a passion for nurturing others. While she is not a member of the LCBA staff, the help she provides Tim enables him to reach higher levels of excellence in his ministry.
Jennifer often accompanies Tim to meet and connect with pastors and their wives, fostering personal relationships that provide couples in ministry with understanding, support, fellowship, and friendship. Her dedication to this relational ministry enhances Tim’s work and strengthens the pastoral community within the association.
A Ministry of Collaboration and Growth
Together, the Burdicks are passionate about fostering a culture of support, growth, and collaboration among pastors, their spouses, and their families. Tim’s regular pastor lunches, a cornerstone of LCBA’s initiatives, have created a vibrant community where church leaders can share resources, learn from one another, and grow stronger together.
The Burdicks also champion local and international missions, mobilizing churches for ministry opportunities such as community outreach, church planting, and revitalization projects. Their dedication to equipping churches for gospel ministry has left a lasting impact on Lake County and beyond.
A Legacy of Faith and Service
Dr. and Mrs. Burdick are more than leaders; they are servants of Christ who inspire others through their humility, dedication, and vision.
